Placement Process
1. Review of Resume & Application
Once we receive your application and resume, our team will review it and contact you for a quick phone chat and to set up an interview.
2. Virtual Interview

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, all initial interviews will be virtual until deemed safe to be conducted in person. This virtual interview will discuss your experience, qualifications, and job preferences. Based on the outcome of the interview, we will begin a detailed check on your references.

3. Reference Check

Following your interview, your professional references will be contacted. If all goes well, we will begin the background check process, as well as creating a profile to be shared with potential families. The profile will include your application, resume, and any written letters of recommendation and verified certifications.

4. Background Check

Once your professional references are complete, your background check will be sent off to screen your driving record, check for sexual misconduct, as well as criminal charges, both locally and nationally. This background check must come back clean on all fronts to proceed with the family interview.

5. Family Interview

When we receive your clean background check, your profile will be active and available to be reviewed by potential families. They will review all available profiles, select their top candidates, and interviews will be scheduled for their top choices.

6. Placement

After the initial interview, a family may choose to schedule a second interview before making a final decision. Once they decide to make you an offer, you and the family will work together to finalize contract terms (highly recommended) and you will be ready to work!
